Since 2002, the Galveston Island Arts Academy has provided quality arts education and performances for Island citizens and visitors. The property is situated in the historic East End of the Island diagonal from the Garten Verein on Avenue O.

The mission of the Galveston Island Arts Academy is to create an encouraging environment for academic, creative, and performance excellence that will represent the highest standards of teaching, learning, and performance.

Music teachers are committed to this philosophy believing that careful lesson preparation, attentive lessons with parent involvement, and regular performance practice produce the most positive results. Students of the GIAA participate in local and state adjudicated festivals.

Providing Music Excellence for:

Individual & Group Music Instruction: Piano, violin, guitar, voice, woodwinds, and therapeutic guitar;
Summer Music Classes;
Art Exhibitions;
Wedding and Special Event Music.
